Jenn eliminated Marcus in the final two of The Bachelorette Season 21, meaning that he was her runner-up, according to Reality Steve. Jenn’s winner was Devin Strader, a 28-year-old Freight Company Owner from Rosenberg, Texas; her third-place finalist was Jonathon Johnson, a 27-year-old Creative Director from Kansas City, Missouri, while her fourth-place finalist was Jeremy Simon, a 29-year-old Real Estate Investor from Fairfield, Connecticut.

Reality Steve confirmed that Devin and Jenn got engaged at the Final Rose Ceremony, and are still together. At the time, it’s unclear whether Jenn eliminated Marcus at the Final Rose Ceremony or before, however, Reality Steve confirmed he was a part of her final two in May 2024 with a photo of him at the Fairmont Orchid in Waimea, Hawaii, where the finale was filmed, seemingly confirming that he doesn’t self-eliminate.

Prior to The Bachelorette Season 21’s premiere, Jenn told Season 11 Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe in an interview that she had an unexpected ending that’s “never happened” in the franchise. “I think I’m also being told that the ending of my season is also something that has never happened before,” she said. Though fans speculated that the unexpected ending had to do with Jenn and Devin—with the main theory being that Jenn proposes to Devin—there’s a possibility that it could have to do with Jenn and Marcus’ breakup.
