Fans speculated that Aaron could be the next Bachelor in the comments of his army uniform post. “This man is about to be the next bachelor, if Jen doesn’t choose him lmao,” an Instagram user wrote. If Aaron was the Season 29 Bachelor, he would be the fourth pilot to be the lead of a Bachelor franchise show after Season 14 Bachelor Jake Pavelka, Season 24 Bachelor Peter Weber, and Season 19 Bachelorette Rachel Recchia.

Aaron’s self-elimination on The Bachelorette Season 21 came a week after his feud with cast mate Devin Strader, a 28-year-old Freight Company Owner from Rosenberg, Texas. The drama started at Devin and Aaron’s group date with the rest of the cast, where Devin took Jenn away from the group to get ice cream.

The feud intensified at a party after the group date when Devin interrupted Aaron’s one-on-one time with Jenn with an ice cream cart. Aaron later took Jenn back and continued his conversation with her before Devin had the final steal of the night and sealed his victory with a kiss. Aaron confronted Devin at the cocktail party before the second rose ceremony, where he gave Devin a book about self-growth, a move Devin took as an insult. “I want you guys to all just love each other. Is that too much to ask?” Jenn asked Devin on the group date, who confirmed her ask was, in fact, too much.
