Although the main point of Netflix’s Beckham docuseries was to highlight the career of the pro soccer player David Beckham, it also brought us a handful of funny clips. Shortly after airing, a scene in which Victoria Beckham plays coy about her family’s financial status went viral, and fans enjoyed watching David repeatedly ask his wife what kind of car her dad drove while she was growing up.
“Be honest,” David yells to Victoria as she’s being interviewed solo. Eventually, she admits that in the ’80s, “my dad had a Rolls-Royce.”
Not only did the interaction land the couple a spot in Uber Eats’ Super Bowl LVIII commercial, spoofing that exact moment, it also inspired Victoria to turn the quote into a slogan T-shirt for her fashion brand, which she can be seen rocking in the ad. The $150 “My Dad Had a Rolls-Royce” Victoria Beckham design quickly sold out after it first dropped last year, but now, it’s back in stock and available to buy.

In an additional Uber Eats commercial — which features other famous faces like Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer — Victoria struggles to remember the name of her band, Spice Girls (“Paprika Girls?”) while wearing a different slogan tee that says “David’s Wife.” That one is also available to shop through victoriabeckham.com and costs $190 (plus, it’s a must-have if you, too, are married to somone named David).

Still, despite referencing some now-iconic moments in pop culture history, these shirts are definitely on the expensive side. So, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that plenty of dupes are popping up on sites like Etsy and look almost identical to OG tees.
If you’re interested in snagging Victoria Beckham’s Super Bowl style and don’t mind wearing a lookalike instead of the real thing, we’re rounding up our favorite Rolls-Royce T-shirt alternatives, ahead, as well as a few others that we feel are just as fun.

While the real Victoria Beckham T-shirt is only available in white, Etsy sellers offer alternative options, not only selling similar tees in the original colorway, but also making them in black, pink, blue, and more.

If you’re more into sweatshirts than T-shirts, not to worry. The slogan is also available on crewnecks and, at this shop in particular, you’ll be able to choose between white, sports gray, ash, and sand colorways.

Make it clear that we’re not talking about your father here. This tee points out that it’s VB dad who had a nice car, avoiding any confusion.

Victoria admitting that her dad had a Rolls-Royce is just one funny part of this memorable scene. Another quote worth rocking is David’s “Be honest,” which is a nice lesson for everyone.

So, maybe your dad had a Nissan Pathfinder instead of a Rolls-Royce. Now, you can customize your shirt to say whatever you’d like — something fans of the Beckham family will no doubt appreciate.

Ok, so it’s not a T-shirt, but a mug might be something you’ll get way more use out of, making it the most practical alternative.
