A night to remember. Travis Kelce just attended the *NSYNC reunion without Taylor Swift. The classic boyband made a surprise appearance at Justin Timberlake’s One Night Only show at the Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles on March 13, 2024.
As reported by TMZ, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end appeared at the concert wearing a green shirt, and he was seen leaving the concert in the passenger seat of a car. After a long-awaited reunion, *NSYNC performed the songs “Bye Bye Bye” and “It’s Gonna Be Me,” as well as a new song, “Paradise.”
Travis’ girlfriend Taylor Swift gushed about her love for *NSYNC at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards when they presented her with the Best Pop Award. Even when they were walking onto the stage, the camera panned to the “Lover” singer and she was in disbelief. Justin Timberlake presented the award to the “Unstoppable Taylor Swift” as she went up on stage to say, “I’m not well pivoting from this to this,” while pointing to the group and her VMA trophy. “Like I had your dolls. Are you doing something? What’s gonna happen now? They’re gonna do something and I gotta know what it is!”
Many Swifties online pointed out that the evermore artist might have gotten FOMO once she realized where her BF was headed. “man i knowwww taylor was upset when travis came home and told her all of *nsync showed up to that concert 😭😭😭 i would be heartbroken,” one user on X (formerly Twitter) posted.
Meanwhile, Travis seemed to have a great relationship with Timberlake. The “Can’t Stop The Feeling” singer recalled a night when he met the football player. “He went up and did one of those [side body bumps], you know, when they jump,” said Timberlake on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. “I was like, ‘He’s doing it. I have to do it.’ And I forgot that he weighs like 80 lbs. more than me.” “You basically got tackled,” Jimmy replied.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce still seem to be going strong after going public last year. The football player was seen supporting his busy girlfriend on her Eras Tour stops in Australia and Singapore. “I got to see two amazing shows of the Eras tour,” he told his older brother and co-host Jason Kelce on New Heights, who recently retired from the Philadelphia Eagles. “The last of the leg that Taylor has until she’s back at it here in a couple of months.”
