I put a lot of pressure on myself to pack *well* for a trip, whether it’s a weekend away or a longer trip abroad. I want to be prepared, maybe have a few too many makeup options or outfits, but I don’t want to feel like I’m going to wake up at my destination and wonder why the heck I chose what I chose.
When it comes to beauty, the hardest category to pare down is my makeup, but everything else is much easier to decide on. There are a few beauty + lounge comforts that I always always always travel with so I can feel like myself on a trip! See them below!
01. Lake After Bath Wrap – I never travel without this! I get too hot getting ready in my clothes or a robe.
02. Laneige Lip Mask – I clearly cannot fall asleep without slathering my lips on this.
03. Clear Pouch for the airplane – In this clear pouch I had contact lenses, my glasses, lip balm, a few Cetaphil makeup wipes, and a hair tie. It was all I needed to get ready for “sleep” on the red eye. I wish I had packed a few disposable toothbrushes for the flight though!
04. Truffle Clarity Pouch – I’ve had this for years and always keep it stocked with travel versions of my toiletries.
05. T3 Afar Lightweight Travel-sized Hair Dryer with Auto Dual Voltage – I’ve been using a T3 travel dryer for years when I go out of town. I love the compact size, and it still packs a punch!
06. Tommy John Set
07. Cetaphil Makeup Remover Wipes (for plane and for easy makeup removal on the go) – I keep a pack of these in my travel toiletry kit, but I also grabbed a few to put in my clear bag for the airplane.
08. Silk hair ties
09. T3 Singlepass Style Max Professional 1” Ceramic Flat Iron (also has auto dual voltage) – This has been my go-to flat iron lately and during this trip to Paris, it was easy because I simply had to pack a small adapter to make it work.
10. Leak-proof travel containers – After spending too much money on Reis and Cadence containers for travel, I found that this kit was just what I needed to bring a few pumps of each product I needed.
