Perhaps part of the draw when it comes to the Kelsey pants is that most pairs cost just $98, which is quite the deal considering how luxe they look. On top of labeling the fabric as “high quality,” customers say the addition of spandex material makes these bottoms comparable to wearing leggings or sweats, only they look a lot more elevated.

Still, in my opinion, the true test of a go-to pair of trousers is how well they wash. Will they become more stretched out as time goes on, losing their form-fitting shape? And do they need to be dry cleaned (ugh) in order to keep them looking nice? In this case, the answer to both questions is no. By washing these pants with cold water and tumble drying on low, you’ll be pleasantly surprised to find that they really do hold up.

Right now, I’m personally adding the Petite Kelsey Hi-Rise Skinny Trouser to my cart, along with Liverpool Los Angeles’ slightly oversized, Boyfriend Blazer with Princess Darts to create a full suit. But considering all the positive reviews, I’m not convinced I can settle with just one pair of pants — and, with the must-have list ahead, you may find yourself having the same problem.
