So, I’m not a big Oakcha fan girl. I’m not particularly keen on all these replications of luxury perfumes. Call me a snob but yeah…! However, I am somewhat into the fact that Oakcha occasionally does their own fragrance collections and they just did a Gourmand Collection that I grabbed a sampler of. You see, I got their Candy Collection prior to the Gourmand Collection launch. They had a set with all full-sizes and I immediately grabbed it because people, it spoke to me! The collection scents like Peach Rings, Choco Break (which was supposed to smell like Kitkats), Sugar Rush (which was supposed to smell like Swedish Fish), and other delicious candy inspired scents. Well, I got the collection, spent quite a bit on it, and was grossly disappointed. Some of the scents were nice but the inspired by scents not so much.
When they dropped the Gourmand Collection a few days ago I was so tempted to purchase some full bottles as these sounded amazing. But having been burnt by my last blind buy I decided I’d go with the sample set to be safe. The Oakcha Gourmand Collection Sample Set is $12 and includes all six fragrances in this drop in small 0.06 oz mists. Plus you’ll get a $12 voucher back which you can use towards a full-size bottle purchase!
The Oakcha Gourmand Collection scents are $30 each for 1.7 oz bottles and the scents include:
Caramel Brew (freshly brewed coffee with steamed milk and a caramel twist)
Vanilla Gelato (velvety vanilla and milk accords)
Lemon Cake (lemon mousse cake with zesty citrus notes and creamy vanilla with warm shortbread)
Berry Bonbon (raspberry pistachio tarte with creamy vanilla)
Nectar Whirl (toffee macarons, sugar, toasted almonds, vanilla, and a nutty heart)
Marshmallow twist (sweet, fluffy marshmallow and creamy milk)
They all SOUND amazing but I can’t blindbuy any of them after my last bad blindbuy gone bad. The sampler was a perfect way to check these out before I commit to a full-size of any of them! You can snag your sampler now on Oakcha’s website! I’ll give you a heads up how they smell when mine arrive. I’m hoping for good things!
