Natasha Denona Final Sale No Exchange at Sephora

Select palettes from Natasha Denona are final sale with no exchanges at Sephora. I saw a discussion about this on Reddit and went to investigate and it appears select palettes have a little listing that states, “Final Sale: No returns or exchanges”. There also appears to be a “LEARN MORE” hyperlink next to the no exchange warning but you can’t click it. Redditors think that perhaps it means that Natasha Denona is pulling out of Sephora especially since now Ulta sells the brand but I don’t think that’s the case at all.

Why do I believe otherwise? Because not every single item from the brand has this warning. If you click on lipsticks, her new primer, concealer, etc…the warning is not in place. It only appears on the palettes. I’m pretty concerned about this. Not because I’m worried Natasha Denona will disappear from the shelves but because it may mean certain brands are working with Sephora to crack down on returns. We all know stores and brands are losing money daily with the excessive amount of returns they get and this may be an early warning sign that things are about to change in a major way.
A lot of stores have changed their generous return policies including Nordstrom and Macy’s with the window for returns being a lot smaller than they once were. If I’m right and Natasha Denona is working with Sephora to not offer returns that could mean more brands will do the same.
We all know returns are unheard of in other parts of the world like Europe and Australia. We might just be headed in the same direction if people keep buying excessive amounts of makeup and proceeding to return it all within a month of the purchase.
What do you think this “FINAL SALE” warning is about? Is Natasha Denona leaving Sephora or is Sephora’s return policy becoming stricter?
