There’s a new Replica Perfume for Fall 2024 and I dunno about you but I’m excited. Maison Margiela Replica Afternoon Delight Eau de Toilette will be available shortly for the Fall season and it’s a warm, spicy, sweet gourmand with notes of Madagascar Vanilla, Madeleine Accord, and Sandalwood. The fragrance inspired by a Parisian cafe and the aroma of warm pastries filling the air. Warm, buttery madeleines make an appearance in this delicious vanilla fragrance. According to Replica, although sweet and gourmand it still has a woody element making an easy wear for either males or females.
I do so hope this isn’t as warm or dark as Coffee Break was. I really expected more of a coffee gourmand from that fragrance and it truly didn’t smell exactly as I had hoped for. It makes me fearful Afternoon Delight won’t have easy to detect notes. I mean, a perfume that smells like madeleines sounds dreamy but can Replica recreate that note without it being overpowered by the woodsy elements? I know that By Rosie Jane’s Dulce came as a surprise to me. It contains woodsy notes but with the sweet vanilla we got a warm, soft, comforting scent that reminded me of delicious cookies! It’s very much what I hope from Replica’s Afternoon Delight as it’s such a rarity the brand takes on gourmands!
As we head into the cooler weather I look forward to smelling like yummy, decadent desserts again! I sure hope that Maison Margiela Replica’s Afternoon Delight will be one of those scents to create that scent bubble for me.
