Well, you’ve heard me talk about it enough haven’t you? But you haven’t seen it on my cheeks so, here’s what RMS Beauty Mai Tai ReDimension Hydra Powder Blush looks like on my cheeks!
Gorgeous shade, isn’t she? This yummy golden apricot coral gives cheeks beautiful color and glow without the need for a highlighter. I’ve endlessly recommended RMS Beauty ReDimension Hydra Powder Blush because I love the formula, and the shade I’m always raving about is Mai Tai.
This formula launched about two or so years ago, and since then, I believe I have almost all the shades. It’s one of my favorites in the blush world at the moment (outside of Melt Cosmetics Genesis Digital Dust Highlighter, which is long gone, le sigh!).
The blush comes in a refillable, white hard shell compact with a full-size mirror inside. It’s a simple yet elegant design that stores easily. The blush is held in the compact with the magnetic and pops out quickly if you wish to depot it in a different compact or purchase a refill of the same or a different shade. The compact and blush are $35 for 0.25 oz of blush, and the refills are $28.
This is a gel powder, so it has a firm texture without a powdery kick-up. It still has a light-as-air formula with a super silky feel and finish that applies smoothly. It wears for a solid eight hours on my skin and doesn’t lose its glow during that time.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it a hundred times over, I suck at highlighter application. I just can’t get highlighter applied correctly. I always overdo it and sometimes the placement is entirely wrong as it ends up on the apples of my cheeks and not at the top of my cheekbones. I can’t get it applied right. That’s why I LOVE blushes like this. They work not only as a blush but you get that stunning glow you would from a highlighter without the messy, complicated application that comes along with it.
