I’m a die hard Experiment user and it’s a big part of my night routine along with Ialuset Hyaluronic Acid Cream and retinol or I’ll switch up and use an acid. I don’t use any of these in the AM but I do use them as part of my nightly routine and find them a bit too much for daily use. And of course, I inject my trust Youth to the People Triple Peptide + Cactus Oasis Serum in there (even use it under my eyes before eye cream)!
I do enjoy switching up my daily routine from time to time and the one I like the most at the moment is this one.
So yeah, I have been cheating on my beloved Youth to the People lately with StriVectin Multi-Action Hydration Multiplier Hyaluronic Acid Serum. I purchased this a few months ago and it’s really blown me away. It’s a bi-phase formula with a cream and gel. It contains ceramides, Hyaluronic Acid, and even Polyglutamic Acid. Polyglutamic Acid actually retains moisture even more than HA. Oddly, all these ingredients are sort of lower on the list which is why I’m confused about how well this is working. One thing, it’s drying as HELL! Yeah, I know, that makes no sense but hear me out.
This is absolutely something you want to apply on wet skin and follow up with either another serum of your choice or moisturizer. If you don’t, you skin will feel tight and dry. That’s just the way HA serums work sometimes. But if you apply it correctly your skin will be super soft, super hydrated, but not oily nor greasy. LOVE this! I even feel like it softened my smile lines!
After I apply the StriVectin I’ll let it absorb for a quick second and proceed to do a fine mist of Avène Thermal Spring Water and head right in with the new iNNBEAUTY PROJECT Firming & Plumping Vegan Snail Serum with Copper Peptides. This is another item I purchased right after it launched and I’m loving it. It’s a stickier serum that snail mucin-free (don’t mind the name) that contains copper peptides. Copper peptides stimulate the production of collagen and make skin more firm and elastic. I always thought of iNNBEAUTY as more of a youthful brand but the more I use their skincare the more I am liking it. This serum is beautiful! Hydrating, leaves skin juicy and plumped, and wears well under makeup!
And my final step is an iNNBEAUTY item as well and that’s the Extreme Cream Anti-Aging, Firming, & Lifting. I use this in AM but sometimes I’ll sneak it into the PM routine as well. I don’t REALLY like moisturizers like this. It reminds me of Farsali’s The Reset Renewal Fluid Cream’s consistency and texture. It’s a bit thin, a bit greasy, and a little too lightweight. I like my moisturizers to be creamier. But I’m getting passed that as it does absorb quickly and initially it feels a bit greasy but sets to a smooth finish. And I can’t deny it really has made my skin look brighter, smoother, and plumped up. And of course, I follow all this up with my SPF. Just a disclosure all the products above I purchased with my own funds however, iNNBeauty did send me a sample of Extreme Cream.
This routine has def left me smooth, not shiny or greasy, and allows my makeup to apply smoother and look it’s very best. If you’re wanting to try some new skincare picks that will leave your skin smoother, juicy, and plumped I’d recommend these three!
