Danessa Myricks Beauty Lightwork V1 The Freedom Palette Magnetic, Customizable, Stackable Palette with Illuminating Pigments for Eyes, Face & Lips for Holiday 2024 is now available and she’s expensive. This $128 eyeshadow palette contains 18 sparkly shades that can be used on your eyes, face, or lips. It comes housed in new magnetic cases that allows you to remove each tray of shadows and arrange them in any way you want (they even stack together). You even get a small to go bag to carry it in! But not sure that will tempt anyone into dishing out $128 for this palette but I can honestly, say I won’t write it off. Why? Because I’ve gotten some of the past Lightwork Eyeshadow Palettes on sale (I rarely pay retail for Danessa as she has such super sales) and the formula is amazing. The shadows typically have a creamy consistency with intense pigment and a liquid metal-like look on eyes. It’s pretty much the old, you get what you pay for moment when it comes to Danessa’s eyeshadow palettes as they are worth it when it comes to quality. That being said the shadows are smallish at around 0.042 each but considering. I can’t really do a break down per shade because Danessa is popular for creams and not powders. She doesn’t offer any single eyeshadow shades in a powder formula like the ones in her palettes which makes it difficult to figure out per shade how much of a value you’re getting. That being said I can’t really see myself dishing out for this as full-price just because I don’t use bolder shades like these as I once did. I can however, see myself buying it when it goes on sale. I also, fear that some of the shades may be rerun from Lightwork V1 which I have (and love). As you can below the Danessa Myrics Beauty Lightwork V I Am Palette does look like there are a few similar shades. I wouldn’t say dupes considering I haven’t see Lightwork V1 in person but it’s just the color scheme does similar. I’ve mentioned it before and I’ll mention it again these palettes do give off those L’Oreal HIP Eyeshadow vibes but the formula and texture are WAY different obviously.
