In the data breach, Sam Rader was revealed to have an account with the dating site. “As you may have seen, my name has been associated with an Ashley Madison account,” the Sam and Nia star said in a video posted on YouTube which has now been deleted. “I did make the account two years ago.”
He continued, “I need to be clear that I never had an affair with anybody ever while I’ve been married. This account was opened out of pure fleshly desire and just simple curiosity.”
“This is an issue that is in our past. This was before I got onto YouTube,” Sam said in the video. “This was brought to my wife’s attention. She has forgiven me for this mistake that I made in opening the account. I have sought forgiveness from God and he has forgiven me, so I have been completely cleansed of this sin.”
“Our marriage is worth fighting for and it always will be,” Nia said in the video. “Marriage is the real deal and it’s been sealed and it’s worth fighting for, it always will be.” He added that he made the account out of “fleshly desires and simple curiosity.”

Sam and Nia met while attending Wills Point High School in Wills Point, Texas. They dated for five years before marrying in the city. Sam worked as an ER nurse while Nia worked as a manager of a Maurices store.
